Do you have a cookbook in the works? I would purchase it in a heart beat; your recipes are incredible as are your photos and talent for cooking!
Thanks so much!! Nothing in the works yet 🙂
What kind of camera and editing do you utilize?
I, too, have found you via instagram. Not sure how, but deeply grateful that I have. Your food photos and styling are perfectly beautiful. May I just ask why/how they seem to have such a vivid green/yellow brightness to them? Is it a filter that you use?
Thanks so much! Really glad 🙂 my goal is to get everything right in the frame out of the camera when shot. I don’t use filters typically, and usually edit in light room and/or Photoshop.
I bloody love you! 😍
Ahh, you’re awesome. Thanks 🙂

Your work should be in a museum – it’s exquisite!
Do you teach photography or have any tips to share? My photos don’t even look this good in my dreams!
Thanks so much 🙂
I do teach classes every so often (next one schedule in Nova Scotia, Canada next month). Hoping to schedule some more Canada & US events for next year. Happy to try and help with any questions though!
I’d love help. I wouldn’t even know where to start. Have you written a book or eBook? I’m sure my biggest problem is I’ve never taken a class to learn everything about cameras. My photos are okay. When one is great I honestly have no clue why!
Hy Dennis I found you on ig omg there are beautiful and amazing foods you’re the great guy that inspire a lot of people around the world to learn about the cook, I’ll continue to follow you and to be wishing your plates thank you from Brazil.
Thanks so much Renato. Appreciated!!

Food Photography is something I’m learning every day. Your plating skills are outstanding. As a chef and TV personality I look for these things as inspiration to make my brand better. I would definitely have you on my show if you were local. I lost my way as a chef from double injuries back to back so looking on your IG inspired me to seriously step my game up. I have the audience but the passion returned when I see your work. Thank you for showing me through your pics why I became a chef all those years ago. Happy New Year!
Thanks so much for the kind words 🙂 Seriously made my morning!!!
I would love to take part in a workshop you host/teach. Will you have any scheduled in/around Toronto this year? Also: any food photography resources you’d recommend to someone looking to learn (books, websites, the camera user guide 😄)? Who were your teachers, your inspiration?
Hi! Nothing scheduled at the moment, but might be something later this year. I’m haven’t read many books, to be honest, but get massive inspiration from other photographer’s work (Daniel Kreiger & David Loftus being 2 huge inspirations to me). The way I really learned how to shoot was by studying light, and how it hits the subject, moving around the subject to study angles, and by shooting thousands of images. Take photos of EVERYTHING. And try and study other’s work (how light hits / composition etc), take inso, and develop a style of your own.
Huge fan of your work- just wondering, are you located in Toronto?
Looking to get some photography done for some upcoming food AD’s.
Thanks in advance!
Hi! Thanks so much. I’m based in New Brunswick, but travel to Toronto often. Feel free to send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with details.
Your food is beautiful and the pictures are out of this world!! I’m a big fan of you.
Thanks so much!
